NESCO
From life-saving vaccines to the fresh produce on our dinner tables, the world stays moving thanks to a ‘cool’ invisible hero: Cold Chain Logistics. Recently, the air at the Aldel Institute of Management (AIM) was thick with anticipation as students swapped their seminar halls for the sprawling corridors of the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Goregaon, for an eye-opening journey into the heart of the logistics industry. The visit did more than just impart knowledge, it sparked career-defining motivation. Logistics is often perceived as ‘moving boxes’, but at NESCO, students saw it for what it truly is: a high-stakes, technology-driven field vital to global health and commerce. Exposure to the vast array of roles from Supply Chain Analysts to Operations Managers—opened new doors in the minds of our future managers. The realisation that they could be at the helm of such critical infrastructure was a powerful motivator, turning abstract classroom concepts into tangible career goals.
